Visit this awe inspiring, 800 year old Keshava temple carved from stone in the Hoysala style.  It is one of the best preserved of it’s kind.

This is a hand carved 13th century temple that leaves most people scratching their heads. The construction methods and beautiful carving techniques have never been fully understood. You will find yourself asking anybody within earshot “How did they do that?”… while pointing to the ceiling that looks like it was 3D printed upside down.

Here all kinds of plants, ornaments, jewellery, animals, dancers, gods and goddesses are depicted forever frozen in stone. Take some time and see if you can decipher some of the stories that somebody wanted to tell you 800 years ago.

Price: $160 AUD per person /  $90 per person for 2 or more people
